Team Folder -upload new version - not original owner

Hi everyone,

I have read about 15 disucssions board items, but can't get exactly the answer I am looking for.  So hoping someone can help.

My colleague and I have all of our work in a Team folder in Review 360.  She is updating some of my orignal work, and I have asked her to upload to Review 360 to the same review link.

Question if it is in the teams folder, can she just within her Storyline file, Publish existing item and find the course because it is in the teams folder?  Or, does she go to Review 360 find the course, select the ... on the course thumbnail and select publish a new version?  And is it the zip file of the course?

Appreicate the help.  I know within all the discussions it is probably in there somewhere, but hoping here, I can get one reply in one spot :)

Cheers

  • Hello TeresaVanderpos,

Great question, and I can definitely see how this gets a bit confusing.

If your colleague has access to the item in the Team folder, the easiest way to update the same Review 360 link is directly from Storyline using Publish → Review 360 → Update existing item. As long as they’re signed in and have editor access to that Team folder, they should be able to select it from the list and publish a new version to the same link.

The option to upload a new version from Review 360 using the “…” menu is typically used when you already have a published output (like a ZIP file), but it’s not necessary if they’re working directly from the Storyline file.

So in your case, your colleague can just publish from Storyline and choose the existing item. There’s no need to manually upload a ZIP.

Hope that helps simplify things a bit!
