Text box unread with screen reader - help ?
Hi,
I'm currently making a storylinecontent and I would like it be accessible.
I check the focus order and made the button accessible but when I use the native windows text reader (Narrator), it doesn't detect the text (I don't know if it's because it's too long). It means everything looks good on the scene apart from texts like mail or written speechs.
Do you have an idea about this problem ?
Is it a storyline bug or me not knowing how to read long text (350 to 500 caracters) with narrator?
Thanks for any help, I want to be sure our lesson is accessible...

Hi Floriane,
I'm sorry you are having this issue with your screen reader! Windows Narrator is not one of the Articulate supported screen readers. Would it be possible for you to test your course using NVDA or Jaws? They are screen readers that are free to download.
If you are still getting the same result, would you be willing to share your file here or with our support engineers privately in a support case so we can test some possible solutions for you?
Thanks for reaching out!

Hi John,
Thanks for your quick answer.
I tested my project reading with NVDA and the problem is still the same.I will share in a support cas to the support engineers to find where the problem could be and if there is any solution :)
Thanks.
Hi Floriane,
Thanks for confirming that you tested your project with NVDA! I'm sorry to hear that the issue persists. I see that you've connected with my teammate, Carlo, in a support case. We'll continue the conversation there!
