Text Entry on Ipad
I am having issues getting any text entry fields to work on ipad. Scorm into our LMS. HELP!!

One of the fixes addresses the issue that happened on mobile devices where the text entry field would lose focus, and the keyboard would disappear.

Can you tell us a bit more about what is happening? Have you tested the content in SCORM Cloud? If you are able to replicate in SCORM Cloud, please share your .story file for us to take a look.

When deploying the content thru our LMS and when people are using Ipad/iPhone to watch....any time there is a text entry field is clicked in the ipad keyboard appears and disappears quickly. The Try again and then the incorrect layers appear. See attached. I think this has something to do with the triggers here (potentially the out of focus details).
Hi Heather! Thanks for sharing your file and allowing me to take a look. I do see the behavior you reported viewing on the iPad. I think you are correct and is due to the 'control losing focus' when the keyboard pops up. I see where we have a similar issue reported and open with our QA Team so I will be sharing this with them to take a closer look. The only workaround that I see mentioned is utilizing a Fill in the Blank question slide instead.

I did some testing with this idea and it seems to be working as long as I write the trigger to accept anything in the field. When I try to type in the fill in the blank area on the ipad the ipad keyboard does not put any actual letters in the blank. It appears that storyline interaction is not recognizing the input from the ipad keyboard.

This thread is a bit dated. Could you share what version of Storyline you are using when you experience an issue?

Thank you for that information.
We did have an issue reported for Storyline 360, but we do show this as fixed/corrected in the latest version.
Could you be sure that you are using the latest version, instructions here, and let us know your findings.
