Hello there, I am having the same issue as Dao. I have a hover state with white type, and a visited state with dark type. Once the button is visited, the hover state adopts the dark type. I am including a screen shot of my slide in Storyline next to the published preview. You can't see the cursor hovering in the screen shot, so trust me that the button is being hovered. :) I get the same problem when I preview the slide in Storyline.

Hi Josh!

Sorry to hear you've run into issues with hover states from your Storyline course!

I see that you've also opened a support case and connected with my colleague Philam. Smart move! It looks like Philam shared this behavior is related to a bug where objects added inside the object's states overlap when the state changes.

I've linked this discussion to the bug report and will provide updates as soon as a fix is in place. In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest:

  • When using the change state trigger, set the object to change only from Built-in to Built-in States or Custom to Custom states.
