Text on screen that can be copied and pasted by learner
Does anyone know if there is a way (simple or java script) to have text visible on screen that the learner can copy and paste to another program. I'm creating a course to house a podcast and am including a transcript that I want the learner to be able to copy and paste. I'm using Storyline 2 (about to upgrade to 3) - 360 not an option with our current IT / Cyber Security infrastructure.

Hi Chris
Rather than a copy and paste, why don't you just include the transcript as a text document they can download? You could link it in the Resources tab or have a dedicated button on screen which links to it...

Can we revisit this copy/paste thing? I want to avoid having the learner download things and juggle between the browser and documents. Does anyone know of an easy way to make certain slide text able to be copied?

Thanks Glenn, ended up doing it the way you suggested with a button to open a separate Word doc

If anyone is still wrestling on this, I had success with the suggestion at the bottom of this thread; https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/making-text-copyable-during-course from Tacy Delgado
