Text to Speech - Markers
I have been using the insert audio "text to speech" for the slides but I cannot figure out how to insert the text to speech within a marker. I am in the marker, click format, click audio but have no option to insert except "audio from file". Am I not using the correct process for inserting speech into a marker?

Hi there, Marla. There isn't a direct way to add text-to-speech from the marker's audio options. This would make a great feature request!
If you need to maintain the consistency of your text-to-speech narration with markers, here's one way to do it:
- Add text-to-speech directly to your slide.
- Right-click the TTS audio clip on your timeline, and choose Export audio. It will save to your desktop (or another location you choose).
- Add a marker, and when adding audio, you now have a TTS audio file that you can insert!
I hope this workaround helps in the meantime!

Would be great if the markers supported TTS directly.

Hi, Aubrie, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨
While this feature hasn't made it on our feature roadmap yet, this discussion is connected to the report, so we'll be sure to notify you when we have news to share.
In the meantime, my colleague Crystal's solution above still works. As a recap:
- Add text-to-speech to your slide.
- Right-click the TTS audio clip on your timeline, and choose Export audio to save it to your computer.
- Add a marker, select Audio from file, choose the newly exported file.
