Hello everyone, please how can i add text-to-speech in rise 360?

Could you please add me to the list. It really is a crucial missing element and I'm surprised it's not available yet. Accessibility isn't just a 'nice-to-have' it's crucial to ensure equity- which should be a priority. I'd love to be kept updated! Thanks :)

I also want a text-to-speech feature. Building a course in Storyline and importing it defeats the whole purpose of working in Rise.

Hello! This feature hasn't made it on our feature roadmap yet, but when it does we'll be sure to update this discussion. I've also updated our feature request to reflect the number of people advocating for this feature! Thank you for taking the time to share how you would each benefit from having text to speech in Rise 360.

Has there been any update on this? We really want to offer accessibility to all our learners.

I create the audio file in Storyline and then export the audio. Then, I go into Rise and add an audio media block. I'm intentional about how I create the Storyline. I create a slide for each Rise chapter and then label the layer to indicate the section of the audio. This makes it easy when the customer comes back with edits. I can easily find the file I need to update. Granted, I'm creating a Storyline, but it's only to hold the audio files. I'm attaching a screenshot of how I added the audio to Rise. If anyone has a better suggestion please let me know! This was my first idea. Thanks!

This should be a must-have feature from Rise. with option to show Text transcript below the Audio /video block.

Please add me to the list as well. I am developing a serious of language training course with Rise. And I have to use SL to generate audio, export and then import them to Rise. It's time consuming. It will be nice if I can use TTS directly in Rise when inserting audio.

Hi - came across this post and thought I would chip in.
We had a client who wanted to be able to choose from a range of voices for their VO. Plus they had a lot of mnemonics they wanted to specify precise pronunciations for, so we built a simple tool in Storyline that looked a bit like this:
You just key in the text you want converting to voice (including any SSML for specific pronunciation), select the voice, adjust the pace on the slider and then click 'Convert'. The JavaScript code calls Microsoft Azure AI Speech Services (which is where the range of voices come from) and (a) reads out the text using the selected voice (b) offers an mp3 file for download.
Microsoft Azure is a truly great set of tools. You get a LOT of free credits and is very inexpensive to use. We use this tool all the time now and still haven't exceeded our free allowance.
Oh, by the way, there are a huge number of languages available in Azure.
I know this doesn't address the RISE requests here, but if anyone is interested in learning how to create this tool, we could easily run a virtual workshop??
