Text to Speech not working

When I use text to speech, the preview reads the lines in the slide in random order.

For example-

Slide reads:

  1. Apple
  2. Orange
  3. Banana

Text to Speech reads:

  1. Apple
  2. Orange 
  3. Banana

Preview says:

  1. Apple
  2. Banana
  3. Orange

PLEASE HELP!

I have deleted the slide and started over, but the same problem persists.

    Happy to help!

    I tried to replicate the behavior on a new project file but the audio that was generated was in-line with how the text was presented. I've attached a copy of my test file for your reference. 

    Have you tried recreating your text-to-speech file to see if this will help address the behavior? Here are some tips on how to use Storyline 360's text-to-speech feature:

    If the issue persists, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
