Text-to-Speech

Hello, I'm trying to slow down the TTS in Storyline; however, when I use SSML codes, it just reads the code instead of slowing the speech down. Can you provide guidance on how to fix this? Thank ...

Hi ShannonSheppard I recommend checking a couple of things. Make sure that the action you want is supported by the voice you're using. I would also double-check to make sure that the starting and ending codes are there. This article has some info about both areas. Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Hi Ginger, thanks for the response! I checked the voice I'm using which is Danielle. I tried using starting and ending tags and it just reads them out loud. What else can I do to fix this?

      Danielle is a Neural voice so some code isn't supported. If you try one of the Standard voices, does it work?
      If not, could you share a screenshot of your TTS screen?
