Hello,
I'm trying to slow down the TTS in Storyline; however, when I use SSML codes, it just reads the code instead of slowing the speech down. Can you provide guidance on how to fix this?

Hi Ginger, thanks for the response! I checked the voice I'm using which is Danielle. I tried using starting and ending tags and it just reads them out loud. What else can I do to fix this?

Danielle is a Neural voice so some code isn't supported. If you try one of the Standard voices, does it work?
If not, could you share a screenshot of your TTS screen?
