Text-to-speech
Hi Ivo!
Happy to share some insight on this!
In Storyline, it is possible to remove closed captioning, while retaining the Text-to-Speech audio. Here's how:
- On the Slide's Timeline, select the audio track that has the closed captions you want to remove.
- Navigate to the Options tab on the top ribbon.
3. Click Delete under the Captions section. This will remove the closed captions, while keeping your Text-to-Speech audio intact.
Please let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks for your reply Steven. I did figurate this out on my own. The problem is that I have many slides with lots of TTS tracks. As you can imagine, this method will quickly become tedious.
Is there a way to batch delete cc?

Hi Ivo!
You're welcome. Thanks for following up!
Currently, Storyline 360 does not offer a global setting to delete all closed captioning, across an entire project at once. For now, those changes must be made at the slide level. We understand it can feel laborious, so we're tracking a feature request to streamline this process. I've included your voice in the request!
We'll be sure to notify you if this enhancement makes it to our project roadmap.
