Third party machine translation and text-to-speech tools for Storyline and Rise
There are two really useful applications for Storyline devs in the Windows App Store:
HEROTRANSLATE: Input a .story, .xlf, or .xlff file and it will automatically translate it using AWS Translate. It translates all project text, including the closed captions. You no longer need to deal with the AWS Translate UI at all.
HEROVOICE TTS isn't specific to Articulate projects but it will automatically convert TXT files to audio via AWS Polly, Google APIs, or Microsoft Azure.

To be clear, I didn't develop the apps. I'm just putting the word out.

Hi Peter, thanks for sharing. The company I'm working for, Bitville, is also developing a tool to make Storyline/Rise localization easier. The first version is already in use with some of our clients. Feel free to join the webinar in September if you're interested: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/building-better-courses/ai-supported-localization-tool-webinar
Hi Khushi,
Happy to chime in!
I'm not familiar with HEROTRANSLATE, but regarding your inquiry with HEROVOICE TTS, Storyline 360 already uses Amazon Polly as its text-to-speech engine, so its performance might already be comparable with the built-in function. Here's a closer look at Storyline 360's text-to-speech function for your reference:
