This should be so simple but it is not working... reset the slide after a first attempt
Hi all,
I have built a simple drag and drop interaction where I want the learner to have 2 attempts at getting the steps in the right order. If they fail the 2nd attempt, they are shown the next slide with the answers.
For the life of me, I cannot get the choices to revert back from being on top of the steps when the learner fails the first attempt.
I could set a trigger to 'revisit slide' on the try again 'button' but this negates the number of tries I have set as it just revisits the slide each time.
I tried going into the form view and the feedback and branching options but there was nothing there that I could see to overcome the issue. Am I missing something really basic here. Here is a 2 min watch video of my dilemma: https://app.screencast.com/AoIOd8LkZQwn3.
Thanks in advance and apologies if I am being stupid!

Ok a great colleague pointed me towards this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdhSjUOva4Y . Very useful. I wish there were an easier way though.

Here's the way I would use. Can't imagine there being an easier way.
Just my personal rant: I believe much more learning takes place when the learner can see what mistakes they made, and correct them, rather than starting from a blank slate again the second time.

I just saw that David made a 2023 version of this problem too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ink_sd06g6M
