Timeline is not working.
I, too, am having this issue on only the slide I created with a 360 image interaction. The timeline plays for other slides, but not his one, making it difficult to synch the text with narration. It appears that the 360 image interaction is the culprit. When I deleted that from the base layer, I was able to play the timeline and synch the text to the narration of the other layers, Then I recreated the base layer.

If you re-add the image to the slide after deleting it, does the issue persist? Have you tried using a different image to see if that makes a difference? If you're willing to share your file here, or privately in a case, I'd be happy to take a look at what's going on!
You don't have to delete the 360° image, just make it invisible and the timeline should work.
