To add reflections or open ended questions
Hi Carson!
It sounds like you're looking for a Knowledge Check Block in Rise 360 that doesn't require correct or incorrect answers!
That type of functionality doesn't exist in Rise 360, however, we are tracking a feature request to give authors that ability! I've included your voice in the feature report and will share updates if it makes it to our Feature Roadmap.
In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest:
- Embed a survey from a third-party tool (like Google Forms) using the Multimedia Embed Block.
- Use a Storyline Block containing Short Answer or Essay questions.
Have a great rest of your week!
StevenBenassi hey there - I realize this is an older post, but I just wanted to chime in with one more voice of support for offering a reflection question directly in Rise. It's simple enough to use Storyline blocks, but it'd be nice to have the question type bult into Rise, especially if feedback can be optional!
For example, I often like to ask the students to respond and then I provide some text commentary and/or a model response for their review. In other cases, I just want the feedback to indicate their response was received.

I've included your voice in the feature report we are currently tracking. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as we have news to share!

I do feel like has been the standard reply to any request for this feature for more than 7 years. Maybe take a day or so away from the AI features and update the questions in Rise?
