The problem was that you added a new state called "Hidden," and that interferes with the built-in Hidden state.
You can set the Initial state for any object to Hidden without adding a Hidden state. As you'll see in the attached file, when you do that, the object will appear slightly dimmed while you're editing the slide. However, it will be invisible/hidden during preview and publishing.
BTW, in the attached file, I also got rid of the separate text boxes that were grouped with the Moon and Rising ovals. By adjusting the margins of those ovals, the text fits--and the avoids the need for using a group.
