Top padding issue in Rise microlearning blocks
Hello JohnToh-e9625c3,
Happy to help!
What block types have you inserted into your microlearning? From your screenshot, I see that you have included a text block. Is that right?
I was able to replicate this behavior on my end. I'd like to share a workaround that includes checking your block padding settings for each block and connecting your blocks for a more seamless look!
If you're still having difficulty, please let me know! We can take a closer look at your microlearning in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi Luciana,
Thank you so much for the video! I have tried your approach but unfortunately it didnt solve the padding issue. Please refer to the screen shots below:
In edit mode, i have connected 2 blocks, and the padding for the top block is 0. But when i preview the module, I can still see a massive space at the top.
Looking forward to your response!
thanks again!
John

Hi JohnToh-e9625c3!
Glad to see Luciana has been helping you! Happy to jump in!
If your navigation settings are currently set to 'Stepped,' I suggest switching them to 'Continuous.' This will remove the extra padding you are noticing between the cover page of the lesson, and the first Blocks. While in edit mode, those settings can be found under THEME > NAVIGATION > 'CONTINUOUS'.
- Here's a quick Peek illustrating those steps!
Please let me know if that worked for you!

Hi Steven,
Thanks for the suggestion! Changing it to continuous did resolve the padding issue. However, I prefer using dot navigation as it provides learners with a clear visual cue of their progress. Are there any other ways to address the padding issue while keeping the dot navigation? Thanks!

Hi JohnToh-e9625c3! The more I research this behavior, the more I think it might possibly be a software bug that you're running into. I've opened a case on your behalf asking if you can share your file with us so we can determine if that really is the snag here. We can continue the conversation in your case!
