Transparency for shapes
Hello everyone! I am new to Storyline and am still learning to navigate the tools and functions. I'd like to insert a shape with text and would like the shape to be semi-transparent so that the background image is still partially visible. In the old Storyline, I remember being able to navigate to Shape Fill and then drag the opacity bar. However, I've just updated to the most recent version of Storyline and no longer see the opacity bar at all. In PowerPoint, you can adjust the opacity of a shape by navigating to Shape Fill>More Fill Colors>Transparency. I am not seeing anything like this in Storyline and was wondering if there is a workaround for this? Thank you!

Hi, Adriana,
The Transparency setting is available in the Format Shape box. To open it, click the little arrow in the lower right of the Shape Styles section of the Format ribbon.

You can also right-click the object and select Format Shape.
