Trigger Exit animation then motion path
Hi, Sharon.
Thank you for reaching out! I'm looking forward to the suggestions you will receive from our talented community members! In the meantime, I wanted to offer an idea.
Would it work for your scenario if you use a change of state instead of an exit animation?
You can have a state called shrink, for example, with the smaller object. Then when the user clicks the object, two triggers happen:
- The object changes state to shrink.
- The object moves along the Motion Path.

Here's what this would look like:

Let me know if that's an option for you!
Thanks so much for the suggestion! I was hoping that it would actually shrink. The driving need of this functionality is that the area where the pic moves to (animation path) is much smaller than the pic itself. Thus the shrink animation, just to make both actions look like 1 smooth movement when the learner selects it. I read that exit animation don't work on States, and I tested to confirm that exit animation doesn't work when you trigger to show a layer. So, hoping for another option. Thanks again for sharing a possible solution!
