Trouble with Storyline Quiz imported into Rise

We are currently converting four courses that were built in Storyline to Rise with the intention of supporting a mobile phone format. We have some quiz slides that we have imported into Rise. I can get the quizzes to function on a laptop or tablet, but they do not function when viewed on a phone. Is there something special we need to do in order to have them function on a phone?

  • Hi, there shouldn't be it should just adjust accordingly depending on the media it is accessed on.

Can I just ask you say quizzes imported into RISE... are these imported as review links using the Storyline embed or from elsewhere?

And with the not functioning, they cannot be 'answered' or anything or something different?

They are interactive multiple choice questions. They function in laptop or tablet mode, but on a phone, it opens a window and you can select your choice, but it doesn't recognize the submit button regardless of trigger used. So when you close the window, it doesn't maintain your selection.

      Hi VisionemUser,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with mobile playback of Storyline Blocks in Rise 360.

As Dan mentioned, Rise content is fully responsive and automatically adapts to fit different screen sizes. You shouldn't have to take any extra steps.

I ran a quick test with my iPhone, using Multiple Choice Storyline slides embedded into a Rise course. When launching the course in Apple Safari, I had no trouble selecting answers and completing the Quiz.

Can you share more details on the mobile device and browser you're working with? Also, if you're comfortable uploading the .story file, I'm happy to take a closer look and test it further. Feel free to share that here in the discussion or through a support case.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
