Trouble with Translation Titles
Hello,
I need some help. 😬I have a course that was exported from SL as an XLIFF, loaded into translation software and then reloaded into SL. All text is accurate except for that in the player. The title of the course and menu titles are not matching what was inputted.
Shift when I view it in the player menu it is correct, but once published to review it is wrong. I updated storyline recently and I am running the most recent version. I have saved the file in a different location, exited and opened it again and no change. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Screenshots attached.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with a translated XLIFF file, after importing it back into Storyline!
Thank you for providing the screenshots. The behavior you shared sounds similar to a Storyline bug we are currently tracking. This bug causes:
- Slide titles, Scene titles, and Headings are not translated during an XLIFF/Word import if they were renamed in the Menu options, prior to importing the file.
If you're comfortable sharing copies of the affected .story and XLIFF files, we'd be happy to confirm if you're being impacted by the same bug. Feel free to upload those items here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
In the meantime, as a workaround for this issue, we suggest:
- Click the 'Reset from Story' button in the Menu options after importing the XLIFF/Word translation, to copy the translated Slide and Scene titles to the Menu options. Please keep in mind that this will remove existing Headings in the Menu, and will need to be recreated.
