Turn of the mouse-clicking sounds in storyline screenrecording
Hi! I want to turn off the mouseclicking sound in a screenrecording I have made.
Found this text " Select the mouse object on the slide, go to format tab on the ribbon, and cklick none, single or double."
I just can´t find the format tab? Exactly where is it? Can a get a screenshot so I understand how I should do?

Hi,
is there any way to disable the clicksound for all mouse objects in the whole story? I have created a screencast with many sheets and I do not want to have that sound. Perhaps it is possible to make the sound softer?
Hi samkotthoff!
Happy to help!
Currently, there isn't a way to modify mouse-click sounds globally across a Storyline course. It has to be configured on each slide. However, we are tracking a feature request to support that functionality. I've included your voice in the request!
We'll be sure to notify you if this enhancement makes it to our Feature Roadmap.

Can we add our voices to feature requests without needing to find a thread to comment on? I'd like to add mine to this request. It is pretty frustrating to have to click on tens of slides to remove a mouse click sound just for a short software simulation. While I'm at it, we really need some much larger mouse icon options as well. The best place for the mouse click option would be an fourth tick box in the View Mode / Try Mode options with "include mouse click sounds".

Hi, Jennica.
I'm happy to help!
When you click the mouse object on the timeline, a new menu should pop up on the Ribbon, called Mouse Tools > Format. Take a look below:
