Two characters/avatars in one scenario
Hello all,
I am wondering if there is a possibility of using two characters in one scenario in Rise. I haven't seen this in any of the examples yet but just wanted to know when we would have this possibility?
Also, if anyone has used alternative strategies/techniques in rise to create a two sided conversation, please share those examples.
Thanks!

You can use a different character in each scene of a Rise scenario. I just posted about this yesterday: TIP: Multi-character Scenario block - Rise 360 Discussions - E-Learning Heroes (articulate.com)
Be sure to scroll down in the comments to Tom Kuhlman's post. He provides some nice examples, too.

Thanks a lot for sharing this Judy.
The scenario doesn't exactly help me create the scenario I am looking to build. That's something that I have only found in Storyline.
But regardless, I do think this will be helpful to think of a two way interaction a bit differently. Thanks for sharing.

Hi there, Sonam! Great question! In the Scenario block, the interaction happens between the character and the learner viewing the course. Currently, there isn't a way to add another character to the same scene. But if it works for you, there are a few other creative ways to use other blocks to create a scenario between two people. Here are a few examples of what others have done:
Rise 360: How To Process A Return
Rise 360: Interactive Short Story
The other option is to create the two-person conversation in Storyline and then add it to your Rise 360 course using the Storyline block. Hope that sparks some new ideas!

Yes. that was the only option eventually - creating the conversation in Storyline and using the block within rise.
I really liked the Interactive Short Story by Teresa - is there an option to download that as a template? The character representation is fantastic!

Yeah. I really like the interactive short story too. We don't have a copy of that course, but you could try commenting on that example thread or reaching out to Teresa to see if she's able to share a copy.
