Unassigned Trigger Finder
Is there a utility or way to find triggers in my classes that are unassigned? Thankfully my beta testers typically find where I've failed to add triggers to move from one slide/layer to another, but I hate to leave that to chance. I tried to do a search on 'unassigned', but nothing came back (even when I purposely put one in the story for it to find).
If there isn't a utility to let you know your story is broken somewhere, it might be a nice addition. How do you find these nagging little errors?

Thanks Susan for sharing a description of what you'd like to see! That makes a lot of sense and I'm certain would benefit a lot of people. If you didn't already submit it as a Feature requests here, please do so! If you’re wondering what happens when you submit a feature request, here’s our process.
Thanks!

Looks like this still isn't a thing :( I just made some changes to my course and now I have to go back through the entire thing and look for anything that's now become unassigned. This is very time consuming! Feature request submitted. In general, the lack of being able to search for and find certain things within a course is very challenging.

I would like to echo what Lindsay said. We have a HUGE course with 71 scenes that we're in the progress of going through EVERY slide to manually check for anything that got unassigned. As Lindsay said, "...very time consuming" to say the least. Is there any chance this feature will be added?

Is there a specific file or files where we could do a word search for the word "unassigned" or whatever value Storyline assigns to the unassigned trigger?
I agree with Mark, that checking every screen is very time-consuming. The attached image shows a screen a few folks received while taking the training. There was an unassigned trigger tucked away in a layer. The trigger was left in by accident, but I believe it was the cause behind the page not loading correctly.
Back in the days of Flash, we would get warnings when a published file had errors. The least Storyline could do is provide that same kind of warning upon publishing. This has been an issue for the last 6 years now. It's time add publish error-warnings. At the very least, let us know where we can check on the back end for those errors.

Hi Aaron,
I'm sorry, but there are no updates to share yet. I'll be sure to add your comments to the feature request so that our team is aware.
If you were curious, here's how we prioritize feature requests. While this feature hasn't quite risen to the top of the roadmap, we're taking into account every voice and will be sure to share any progress in this discussion!

I would love to see this feature also, especially since I have 287 Scenes (1 Storyline File) to troll through with varying quantities of slides within each.

Just searched to see if this was a feature - Sadly, it still is not.

Would also love to see this feature added as a "pre-publish" check.
