A scene is a collection of slides, and you'd use it to organize your project. I like to think of scenes as chapters in a book (and the slides would be the pages in each chapter).
Scenes are beneficial not only for structuring and organizing but also for testing (you can preview a specific scene instead of an entire project), creating branching scenarios, and it helps you visualize your course.
