Undo Function in RISE
Any further word on recovering blocks that are accidentally deleted? I am creating my first RISE course and I'm astounded that there doesn't seem to be a way to "undo" a mistake...a function that is common to virutally EVERY program out there! Thanks...
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

I did the same thing, I wanted to change the block from a NOTE to Heading and it blew all the info away. How can I get it back?

Unfortunately, Articulate has delayed such an important function.

You do have a few seconds to hit UNDO, but you need to be quick ....

Totally missed it then :(

I'm pretty quick and I haven't been able to do it once!

Hi Rachael,
The UNDO timer lasts for just 10 seconds.

In my case I was changing the block from a note to heading and it removed all content.

Hi Julie,
Have you tried switching it back to Note?

Good question I can't recall if I did or not. But, I copied the info from my Review 360 and added a new block.
Hi Julie! Switching the block type back to Note should bring the text back. Smart idea to copy the text from Review 360, too!

Uhhg. Any news about adding an undo feature in 2020? We are humans and we make mistakes. We need an undo/back button to recover lost work. I have not encountered any other software that does not have this feature. It's basic necessary functionality for all development tools.
Please add my name to the requested feature list.
Hi there, Heather. There are a few ways to recover accidentally deleted content:
- If you've accidentally deleted some text or a table in your block, you can use
CTRL+Z
(orCMD+Z
) to undo the action. - When you delete a lesson or a block, you'll see an Undo button for a few seconds at the bottom left of your screen.
- If you delete a course, it will move to the Deleted Courses folder where you have the option to recover it or to delete it permanently.
We have a request logged to make the Undo button more noticeable, and we'll let you know here if we make any changes!
- If you've accidentally deleted some text or a table in your block, you can use

Just adding I too would really love an undue button but using 360 review as a back up can help just not in realtime editing.... whaaaa
