Unwanted base layer dimming
Hello! I am working with slides with layers and when I preview/publish my project, the layers dim the base layer objects unexpectedly. It was working fine this morning and I don't believe I changed any settings that would be causing this, but I'm not sure. Can someone please take a look at my file and tell me if I'm missing something or if this is a glitch in the program?

It is now also not showing when I preview it so I'm not sure what's going on. It's a file I haven't worked on in months so maybe it's corrupted?

Can you share a file? If not you can raise a support ticket, difficult to see why without seeing the slide.

I have client information on it, so I'll get a ticket. Thanks for attempting to help me here.
Hi, Benjamin!
I see you've connected with my teammate, Darrell, in a support case. We'll continue the conversation there!

Chiming in to say the same thing happened in slides that didn't use the feedback master. Everything was gorgeous, and then suddenly in preview every layer shown made the base layer muddy.
I couldn't set the slide master or layouts to have no background, and setting the background to 100% transparency didn't help. I had to go into each layer in each slide and format the background to have no fill at all.
After reading this, I think I know what happened. I'd recently done some updates to the .story that involved changing the slide master, and it apparently forced all the layers to have a 75% fill in the background.
All better now. Thank you!
