'User Presses' trigger for the Backspace key on Mobile
Hello! I have a software simulation in Storyline 360. As a learner searches in a text box, they can hit backspace, and it will go to the previous slide. This works fine on a desktop, but not on mobile. 'User presses' triggers for letters and numbers work fine on both the desktop and mobile. How can I get it to recognize the 'User Presses Backspace' on mobile?

Hello JacieAlpers,
I see that you've opened a support case. Nice call! One of our talented Support Engineers will be in touch shortly via email. You're in excellent hands!
We'll continue the conversation over in your case.
Have a great afternoon!

Hi LucianaPiazza! The engineer came back with this response: The trigger isn’t functioning on mobile because the soft keyboard doesn’t appear unless the learner is prompted to enter text. As a workaround, I recommend using an alternative trigger for the same action, one that doesn’t rely on the mobile keyboard to appear.
Do you have a recommendation for an alternative trigger? We're trying to accomplish a dynamic search where the results (different images) appear as they press the different letters in the search. Thanks!
Hello JacieAlpers,
It looks like you shared your project file in the support case you opened. Would you be willing to share it here in the community as well, so we can have other community members review your design and make recommendations?
