I used the same technique as Sarah to make this interaction for a course I'm working on - it's a 3D tour of a rotary evaporator our students will be using.

I made the model myself using Blender. If anyone is thinking of doing the same, Microsoft has this document which details the requirements for 3D models - file formats and supported materials.
Nicola, this is awesome! This is a great use of 3D models! And I love the image and meter you added at the top right to let people know the viewpoint. Nice work!
