Using a scroll pane - is it possible to start the scroll pane from the bottom, to have the learner scroll up?

I am new to using scroll panes and need to move from the bottom of the pane to the top to take the next step in a process sequence. Is it possible to have the scroll pane open at the bottom so the learner can scroll up?

  • Hello Sheryl!

Great question! We don't a built-in way to achieve this in Storyline 360 and I am not seeing that others in the community have looked to build something similar.

I'll pass it over to our community to share any tips on how to build a scrolling panel that starts from the bottom.

  • Check the attached sample. It is a pretty touchy process, and you may or may not want to fiddle with it . You will probably have to do a lot of fiddling to get the results you want. Instructions are on the slides.

  • Thank you, Lauren and Walt. I got around it by using a continue button at the bottom of the slide and having the next layer displaying the top of the window. Just explained they would scroll up but I have done this for them.

I am new to using the scroll panel and thought I may be missing something. I will play with the option you have suggested Walt. I would have thought of rotating it.

    Really appreciate you support
