Using Continue to require correct answer on Knowledge Check.
Hello,
I am attempting to use a Continue divider to require correct answer on Knowledge Check, but cannot get it to work. The Continue button appears even when wrong answers are given. Am I missing something, or is this a feature that is 'in development'?
Thanks,
Dave
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360, adding the new feature below:
- Knowledge check blocks can be added directly to question banks, have their content width and answer colors modified, be required for training progress, and have a set number of retries.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

I would also like to request this feature

This is needed. Verifying knowledge is a core function of courseware. At very least the Continue block should have to option to require successful completion of a knowledge check. And Quiz sections should have equivalent functionality.

Yes, this request would be great. I want to coach people with each incorrect answer and then give specific feedback when they are correct. So a continue block based on correct answer would be the solution.

yes, this feature would be great, the continue button should only be shown once the user answer the question correctly
Hi SibaPrasad!
Thanks for sharing the feedback on the type of functionality you'd like to see in Rise 360!
I've included you in the feature report and will update this discussion as soon as we have news to share. If you'd like to stay up to date, you can bookmark our Feature Roadmap.

I developed a course in Rise 360, but have activities/assessments such as multiple choice or drag and drop, and need students to pass these activities before they can "continue". I have used storyline blocks for some quiz types already, I am just not sure how to set the conditions for an activity in storyline that makes it a requirement to get the correct answer before they can continue.
Hello Adam,
I'm sorry for the trouble with the Continue block in Rise 360; great idea to open a case as well! I see you've connected with my teammate, Johnrey and resolved the issue by resetting the activity.
If you need help with anything else, please let us know here in the E-Learning Heroes Community or privately in a support case. We'll be happy to assist you!

Hi Eric, thanks for following up...I have another SIMILAR problem. I have created a text response "open ended fill in the blank no correct response" activity in storyline.
However I can not seem to get it to activate the complete course trigger so i can continue in the RISE course.
Thanks for any help!
Adam

Any update on adding this request to Rise?
Hi Celeste,
We don't have any new updates to share regarding this feature request, but we'll be sure to leave a message here once the feature request makes it to our product roadmap!

Yes, I agree. I would like to have a way for the learner to get 100% before continuing the course. Adding Storyline to Rise is not a good option. Why not just use Storyline and avoid the issues with Rise?
Please add this functionality.

I have a solution that might help some in this discussion. You can use a Sorting Activity for your "knowledge check" question, and because of the way the sorting activities are designed, the user HAS to get it right before they can move on. And if you combine that with a Continue block that requires completion of content above, users can't skip the sort activity.
I made a quick sample course to show this: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/25d9e4f1-8125-49d1-908f-8a2b185b95bf/review
hope this is helpful

Hello Sonja,
Thanks for your vote! I've added your voice to the request for the option to require a correct answer to a Knowledge Check question. If you have other comments about your use case, please add them here, and I'll update the feature report.
