when publishing a course, storyline creates woff fonts from all the fonts used in the course and automatically integrates them into the css file (data/css/output.min.css)
not supported fonts in storyline
- the storyline webplayer does not support "variableFonts"
- If you use such a font, thin/light/medium/bold/extrabold/... will not work in the published course
- typical there is a static version of variableFonts, install this version
- if there is no static version (e.g. Windows Bahnschrift) don't use it
for some fonts you need special Licensing of Web Fonts
- Microsoft (eg. Arial is not allowed as web font without extra paying)
- Adobe
- Linotype
- ...
- no licensing problems with Google fonts, this is exactly why i would only use google fonts
