Using question banks and quiz slides
Question banks are set so that a predetermined number of questions are drawn in a given or random order. But you cannot link one question bank to draw from a different bank; that breaks the bank (sorry for the pun) as far as the logic of the question banks is concerned.
What you could do is to follow what you have described you are trying to do: "If they get the answer correct, it goes to a completely different quiz slide...for the next question." So you could include the questions in the same bank. The risk, of course, is that the desired questions are presented before or instead of the questions you want to be used first.
Another option could be to link the correct answer to a new scene in the story, and use a placeholder slide before starting a draw from the second question bank - something like, "Hold on a moment, we're preparing the next question" or something. The upside here is that you get the behavior you are seeking (correct answer to question in bank 1 goes to completely different question in bank 2); the downside, however, is that you will probably not be able to use the built-in results slide for either bank, because the logic of the built-in results slide won't capture both banks.
I hope this helps - good luck!
