Add a trigger on the layer to hide the layer when the timeline ends.
That did it, thanks so much! This is a good lesson to learn - to let Storyline do its own thing. I'm still new to Storyline, just started using it a few months ago, so I'm not 100% there yet with all of the logic around it. But I'm really enjoying using it, and I appreciate your help!
