Variable number of attempts for certain quiz questions observed

I have a quiz which has questions with 4 options and 1 correct answer, and each Q has 3 attempts to it. I have observed (my colleagues have reported this to me, but this issue doesn't seem to occur at my end) that for some of the questions, instead of 3 attempts, the correct answer is displayed in the first or second attempt itself, and this happens only when you click the options in some particular order which i haven't been able to figure out. I have checked the settings and triggers and have seen that each question has the same set of triggers to it, still the issue is seen only for some of the questions, not all of them. Have any of you faced this before, please help me with some tips. If the Articulate Support team has any tips that too would be very helpful.

  • Hello Akshay,

    Happy to help!

If your colleagues are accessing your quiz through an LMS, try uploading your course in a different LMS, like SCORM Cloud, to see if your learners will be able to replicate the behavior. You can also publish your course to Review 360 and have them test your course there. Doing these tests will help identify if the issue is specific to your hosting platform.

If your learners can replicate the problem across all platforms, please open a case with our support team here so we can request a copy of your course for testing. We'll delete it when we're done!
