Can you share the embed code that is generated? I've never seen a Synthesia embed code so I am curious - in YouTube there's an option to remove the player controls which inserts ;controls=0 immediately after the URL inside the embed code. No idea if the Synthesia embed code would work the same but maybe worth trying.
