Embedding MS Forms
Is anyone else having a problem right now with embed of MS Forms. Instead of the form showing like it used to, now you have to click to go to the form. So it's not really embedded.
Hi Luciana! Thank you for your response. We didn't want to go so far as doing a Storyline. I just used a button block and linked out to it for now. At some point the form will be deleted since we'll upload the SCORM file to our LMS and the form was just used for tracking. Thank you!

Hi BestFriends,
Happy to help.
This behavior almost always traces back to Microsoft Forms blocking iframe embedding. If the external site (MS Forms) doesn't allow framing, Rise falls back to showing a link preview instead of a live embed. If MS security updates are shipped, MS Forms may add headers such as X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy, which block embedding in tools like Rise. Rise cannot control or override third-party embed restrictions.
Form settings can also play a role. If the form requires login, especially organizational access only, the embed path can break.
Instead of using the MS Form embed code, try copying the URL to the form, then insert that URL into this iframe:
- <iframe src="URL HERE"></iframe>
If that doesn't do the trick, another option is to embed the form as a Web Object in Storyline, then embed that Storyline Block in Rise.
Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your response!
This is what it looks like in preview... and I've never had a problem in the past, using the iframe that you have above. We're using that iframe above in this one below. It looks correct in edit mode. I'm really baffled!

One more thought... this is a microlearning rather than an eLearning with lessons.
Hello BestFriends,
Appreciate you sharing updates!
- Just to confirm, do you notice this same behavior if you try Steven's suggestion of embedding the form as a Web Object in Storyline, and then embedding that Storyline Block in Rise?
- You mentioned you viewed this in Preview. Do you also experience this when publishing to Review 360, Quick Share, or one of our publishing options?
If you're still having difficulty with this showing up as expected, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup with a support case.
Looking forward to hearing form you!
