Video won't play in resources

The browser settings are what will determine if a resource that you click on will get downloaded automatically or opened by the default app that the file is associated with. I tested this by adding a video as a resource using the latest version of Storyline 360, and Storyline 360's September 2021 release and I can confirm that the behavior for the two was the same - the video in the resources section was downloaded instead of opened.
Please check with your IT team to see if they can modify the behavior of your downloaded files so that they'll automatically play when downloaded.
