Visited Hyperlink Text Style is not applied

Sorry to hear you're also having trouble with visited Hyperlink States in Storyline.
Checking CherylGreen​'s case, it sounds like the issue was related to their specific Template file. First, please try importing any problematic Template file into a new file. This step helps to eliminate any corrupted elements that may be causing erratic behavior.
Also, if your affected file is stored on a network drive, we suggest moving it to your local hard drive. Working directly off a cloud drive can introduce unexpected behavior such as this.
