VLE v LMS; SCORM v TinCan
Hi there
These might be dumb questions, but I'll risk it...is a VLE the same as an LMS when it comes to uploading a course made with RISE? And if I export my course as both a SCORM package and a TinCan etc package, will it look and work the same if uploaded to a VLE or LMS? Should I be aware of any massive pitfalls in all this?
I'm a teacher, so I have built a course, but am struggling a little with how to deliver it to potential clients. Thanks for any advice!

Hi Eveline,
From the articles that I've read online, it appears that a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is the same as a Learning Management System (LMS).
If your Virtual Learning Environment is SCORM Compliant, then it should have no trouble hosting SCORM or TinCan packages created using Rise 360.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for that Joe. Acronyms should be banned!
