WCAG Reflow criterion (1.4.10)
Accessibility is important to us. We want to comply with the WCAG accessibility guidelines (AA 2.2.) as far as possible. With regard to the reflow criterion (1.4.10), you refer to an exception in the WCAG guidelines that relates to presentations, among other things. Two-dimensional scrolling is currently necessary when using the zoom.
We would like to know:
- Are there already efforts to adapt with regard to the reflow criterion?
- 2. Are adjustments planned in the near future?
FYI: We do not work with responsive design.

Hello MartinUhrig!
Based on your mention of the exception in 1.4.10 in our VPAT, I assume you are creating your courses using Storyline 360. The exception listed is taken from the WCAG guideline for 1.4.10 Reflow, and we do not plan to change this behavior in Storyline. Storyline 360 has a responsive player that adapts to the learner's screen size and orientation, but the slide content maintains its aspect ratio.
Does that answer your questions? I'm a tad confused because it sounds like you asked if we have plans to make Storyline fully responsive but then mentioned that you're not doing responsive design.
Rise 360 courses are fully responsive and automatically adapt to any screen size and orientation.- MartinUhrigCommunity Member
Thank you for your prompt response—it has already been very helpful. I appreciate the clarification regarding responsive design; it seems there was a misunderstanding on this point.
