When I publish to Word I get an older word version. How do I publish to the most current version of word?
How do I publish to the most current version of word? When I publish to Word it now produces a Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document.

Unfortunately, there's no way to publish directly to a current/more recent version of Word.
You could add your vote for requesting that feature here: Help Us Improve Our E-Learning Software by Submitting a Feature Request (articulate.com)

Our organization requires us to export to current Word versions. We cannot even save the old version so we can update it. This is critical for us moving us.

Agreed. Federal Government programs that moving to Windows 11 flags doc files as a security threat and will not allow exporting to a print file (Level 2 WCAG 508 Compliance requirement).
It's notable that Articulate competitors in the learning development arena are taking note and saying "Storyline no longer works for this"- Holly_MasoCommunity Member
Agreed! Articulate, this change request should be prioritized in the next update.

Please please work on this as soon as possible. We need the print files for our learning assets via Word and we love working with Articulate over all the other authoring tools in the Federal Government.
We really need your support with this and we have so many thousands of learners. - GarryMotto-f5daCommunity Member
I couldn't agree more with this conversation, the amount of time and effort it takes to get these docs converted is a huge waste on the users end which is costing employers money when Articulate could simply update it on their end and call it good.

Hear, hear! Windows 11 upgrades will be a game changer for all those still using Articulate products.
