White Outline on GIF Imported into Storyline

Hi all,

There is a white blurry border around my GIF uploaded in Storyline 360

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    If you open the GIF in an image editor like Photoshop and drop a black layer behind it, does the "halo" appear?

    No but I researched after posting this and found that I can change the outline layer to match my background in 'Save for Web'. I didn't know GIFs always had 1-bit transparency.
