Why can't i refresh my browser while taking a SCORM course?

Whenever i press F5 or reload the pop-up window while taking a SCORM course i exported from Storyline, i get this error: An error has occured: Error initializing communications with LMS Press 'O...

Hi Chris, 

I wonder if because you are refreshing the browser window you are either not sending the bookmarking data or that the bookmarking data is not being requested? I haven't seen a lot of questions on this behavior or set up - but you may want to look at testing the course at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing SCORM content to see how it behaves and also you could look at enabling LMS debug mode to see how the course behaves and what information is being sent back and forth. 

I'd generally suggest not to refresh - but was there a reason you were looking to have them refresh?

Thanks Ashley.

There are some users who seem to get impatient and pressed the F5 button just to make it 'load faster'. But we are just checking if its a normal behavior across SCORM platforms. It does seem that most SCO gets disconnection upon refresh. We will inform the users not to do that.
