Zoom Picture causing image to get fuzzier
I have some images of documents on a slide. They are clear, but too small to read the detail. I click the Zoom Picture button to add the magnifying glass. The enlarged picture (that the student sees after clicking the magnifying glass) looks great, but the image on the slide is now fuzzy instead of clear.
I've used the zoom image before successfully, but now I'm having this problem whenever I try to use it. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, any workarounds?
Thanks

I'm experiencing the same issue, it's not an issue with my image resolution, assuming there has never been a fix for this?
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for reaching out!
The zoom picture will only work for images that have been resized so they are now smaller than the original. You can check out this article to know more about the usage of this feature.
With that being said, if you are already scaling down your images and are still seeing them appear blurry when zoomed in, please upload a copy of your project here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a look at what's happening.

No that's not this issue here. Image looks fine on screen, once the Zoom Picture feature is added to the image it then gets fuzzy, this is before clicking on it in it's initial state. Without the Zoom Picture feature applied the image looks fine. Also looks fine when you click the image and it zooms in to full size as well.
Thanks for the additional information. Are you able to share a copy of your .STORY file? I'd be happy to take a look at it if you'd like.

Here ya go. File has a few slides with different images on each slide. Each slide has the exact same image, one with the zoom picture feature and one without.

Hey folks.
I'm having this issue too. If I use the Zoom Picture feature, the default-sized image goes very fuzzy. If I disable it, it goes back to normal. =(
