Zoom picture shrinks on preview
When I preview a picture that I applied zoom to, the picture is half the size of the original?

That typically happens if you have enlarged the picture after inserting it onto a slide. Zoom Regions are designed to work when you insert a picture and the make it smaller on the slide.
