Zoom Region not supposed to run on layers
Hi,
I have a Zoom region set up on my main screen. That's the only place I want it to run. It also runs on my layers, where I don't need it. What should I do?

Thanks for responding. The layers set up on the base layer all zoom when triggered from the base layer. I only want it to zoom on the base layer. How can I fix it?

Thanks for confirming that you're running into this bug we currently have reported. There are a few workarounds mentioned that revolve around avoiding the zoom feature on the base layer.
You can do this by ending the zoom before jumping to the slide layer or resizing the elements on the slide and avoiding the zoom altogether.

I don't have a zoom function on my base layer, but would like to use it on my created layers. I have imported a new image to the new layer and with the new image, the zoom region is still greyed out.

- As a workaround, you can click on the Zoom Picture icon to allow the learner to zoom in on the image within the slide layer.

Yes, I am unable to use the Zoom Region feature within a slide layer even with an image that I have inserted. Thank you for the suggestion. I need the ability to enlarge just a section of the screen and not all of it. Thanks for looking into this.
