Make Yourself Known
Every journey starts with a spark ⚡️
This is yours!
Step in and share who you are, what you’re drawn toward, and what you’re ready to explore. When someone else shares something that catches your attention, don’t just pass by... respond, connect, and let it build into something more.
From here, things start to expand 💫
Not sure how to start? Here are some examples:

Hi everyone! I'm Kell, and I'm the Senior Community Programs Specialist here at Articulate ✨ I'm the one behind many of the programs you'll see across the ELH community, including Peer Pods and ELH Rewards (though I definitely wasn't the only one working on ELH Rewards). I design and run programs that bring people together, spark new ideas, and create space to grow and try new things. I’m really excited to see how this unfolds: how connections form, how support builds, and what this becomes over time. Outside of this world, I'm usually on the hunt for a really good coffee shop, planning my next trip, or deep in a history spiral. If you ever want to talk about Henry VIII and his six wives, I will absolutely meet you there. |
|
Rachael here, great to meet everyone in this program and I'm sure we'll be best buds in no time. My role here is Community Operations and Strategy Manager but that really just means I do a bit of everything when it comes to community building. |

Hi everyone! I’m Katie, Senior Community Engagement & Content Specialist at Articulate. I help create content that spotlights members and the work you share in ELH - from our weekly newsletter and articles like Made by Members to opportunities like How I Built This. I love supporting and elevating our members’ voices, so if you ever have an idea or want to brainstorm, please feel free to reach out! For ELH Rewards, I’ll also be your Mission Coordinator, sharing monthly missions you can complete to earn bonus points. Outside of this space, I’m a mom to a newborn, still learning to adapt to this new kind of chaos. I’m also a pet mom to a golden retriever and two cats. I love a good theme, so you’ll often find me planning get-togethers like my annual Halloween party. I’m excited to be here cheering you on! |

Hi everyone,
I'm Phil, a Security Learning & Engagement Partner at Tesco with a passion for instructional design, behavioural science and social engineering.
My work focuses on helping people recognise and respond to manipulation, whether that's in phishing emails, Teams messages, phone calls, AI-generated content or other forms of social engineering. I'm particularly interested in why people make the decisions they do, how attackers exploit influence and trust, and how we can design learning experiences that build genuine resilience rather than simply raise awareness.
As an instructional designer, I've also been exploring how AI can act as a second brain, helping me brainstorm ideas, organise information, challenge assumptions and accelerate development. The technology is powerful, but I still believe the strategy, creativity and learner empathy need to come from us.
One project I'm particularly proud of is Phantom Scanners, an immersive ransomware simulation that combines storytelling, gamification and behavioural science to help learners experience social engineering tactics in a safe environment.

I'm looking forward to learning from the community, sharing ideas, and seeing how others are using AI, storytelling and interactive design to create more engaging learning experiences.
Always happy to troubleshoot a problem.

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah from Cleveland, OH! I'm an associate manager at a tech company. My team specializes in training and e-learning development. I have been in the L&D space for about 8 years. I started as a SME and transitioned into a Corporate Trainer for a pharmacy. During my time there, we adopted the Articulate suite and that's where my love for Instructional Design and Learning has taken off. I'm currently in grad school studying for my master's in Business Admin.
I am really passionate about creating fun, innovative, and engaging learning solutions for my company and enhancing the development process for my team members. I love discovering new ways to create content.
Outside of L&D and school, you can find me working on my house (its a bit of a fixer-upper), planning an event, volunteering at the Natural History Museum, reading, or hanging with my friends and family.

👋 Hi everyone!
I'm Mrigna Tewari from 📍 North Bay, Ontario. I work as a Learning and Development Specialist: Instructional Design with Bayshore HomeCare Solutions, and I've been creating engaging learning experiences for nearly four years. 🎓✨
I love turning complex information into learner-friendly, interactive content, and my go-to tools are Articulate 360 💻 and Canva 🎨. There's something incredibly rewarding about making learning both effective and enjoyable!
When I'm not designing training, you'll probably find me at the 🏋️ gym or 📚 signing up for yet another course because I genuinely love learning new things. 😊🤝🌟
I'm excited to learn from all of you, exchange experiences, and make this a fun and inspiring journey together! 🚀🎉

Hi everyone! I'm Kate Golomshtok, a freelance instructional designer and content developer with 11+ years in the profession. I build learning experiences in Articulate 360 and I've worked with clients in banking, manufacturing, and healthcare. Each industry has taught me something different about turning complex, high-stakes content into courses that are clear and easy to use.
I'm also a mom of two sons 👦👦, which means I juggle two full-time roles: instructional designer and professional explainer of things that "should be obvious." Raising kids is the ultimate usability test: if the instructions aren't clear the first time, I'll hear about it. Loudly. And more than once. 😅
Outside of work, I love art history and UX design. I've also built a huge collection of design mistakes, so if you ever want to swap "what were they thinking?" examples, I'm your person.
How I can help:
- 🎨 Course design review: send me your Storyline or Rise course and I'll take a fresh look at its UX, layout, and clarity, and point out what could be smoother for your learners
- 🌱 Advice for new freelancers: thinking about going freelance, or just starting out? Happy to share what I've learned from 11+ years of working with different clients and industries
I'm excited to be part of this community, learn from all of you, and connect with fellow designers. Feel free to reach out!

Hello ELH friends!
Thomas Shayon Harrell, from sunny South Florida (U.S.A.).
20+ year learning pro, last 2 strictly as an eLearning Developer. I constantly work on side projects, e.g., write on LinkedIn, launched a website + a YouTube channel in recent months (I'm eagerly awaiting for something to hit with my audience - 🤣🤣).
Like many in ELH, I fell into training and fell in love with the concept of helping others evolve into their most excellent selves. Though the changes in our profession are unsettling for many, I'm excited to see where the next chapter of corporate L&D goes. 🚀👨🏾🚀
I have 1 son, 1 grandson, and tons of extended family.
ELH is an A-MAZING space, and I'm glad I get a chance to be a part of it. 🙌🏾😁
To see what I'm up to, visit my LinkedIn profile - I'm always open to connecting with fellow learning nerds. 😜
BTW: HUGE shoutout to the Articulate team for intentionally designing this space. I'm looking forward to what's next.

Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Luis, an Instructional Designer from Arizona. My professional superpower is taking complex information and turning it into learning experiences that are practical, engaging, and hopefully memorable.
I especially enjoy scenario-based learning, storytelling, and finding creative ways to help learners connect with content. If you've ever spent twenty minutes debating whether a button should say "Continue" or "Next," we're probably going to get along just fine.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, catching up with friends, baking, crafting, listening to audiobooks, and attending comedy shows whenever I can. Creativity is a big part of who I am, whether I'm designing training, making something by hand, or finding inspiration in everyday experiences.
Fun facts:
- I've never met a creative project I couldn't overthink.
- I've been known to fall down a rabbit hole of custom code, glassmorphism effects, or interactive design ideas simply because I wanted to see if I could make something cooler.
- I believe every course has at least one slide that requires a completely unnecessary amount of attention.
Excited to be here and looking forward to learning from everyone!
"Continue" or "Next?" lol Oh man, we're definitely friends.
Admittedly, I'm a sucker for getting pulled into "strong opinions, weak consequences" type debates. My all-time favorite: “e-learning,” “elearning,” or “eLearning?” Or should we just call it "learning?"
You know, these types of "elearning debates that never die" would make a fun community discussion, Luis. See what happens when you share? We find ways to put you to work.
And seeing that you're in Arizona, you just reminded me I need to get our monthly user group meetings going. It's been too long since we last met. What part of the valley are you in?

Hi everyone, my name's Jonathan. I'm a long-time member of the ELH Community, and last year I became a Director of New Leaf Technologies, the exclusive Articulate reseller for Africa. I also do contract and freelance work.
I'm a Learning Experience Designer who blends Storyline, Rise and JavaScript to create bespoke experiences. Over the years, I've spoken at DevLearn, CORE4, Learning Indaba, and World of Learning, but I enjoy speaking at Articulate events the most. DavidAnderson gave me my first big break in Manchester, back in 2019!I enjoy reading, movies, travelling, music festivals, going to the gym, and - of course - the E-Learning Heroes Challenges! But I'm on a little sabbatical while I complete a big project and prepare for my session at Articuland London next month.
I live in the UK, in a town called Stourbridge, in the West Midlands. I have been married to my wife, Katy, since 2009, and we have two kids - Matilda (15) and Henry (11). In April we took a dream trip to Japan... and I've wanted to go back ever since.
The demos I share publicly tend to be 'just for fun' and will often contain a Dad Joke. But the lessons I've learned from tinkering with the software over the years have helped me become a better, faster and more efficient designer. As I'm fond of saying, "Every day's a school day."
When I'm not here, you can find me on LinkedIn.- DavidTeamCommunity Member
Congrats again on your role with New Leaf.
Funny you shared that picture from the Manchester roadshow because it recently popped up in one of my Photos travel memories. That tour was our last roadshow before the world slowed down.
And to be clear, I didn’t give you your break. You were already an elearning star. We were just lucky enough that you chose the E-Learning Heroes label to record all your amazing work.

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Amanda, a Learning Experience Designer for a credit union in Iowa. I love creating engaging, interactive learning experiences and am always looking for new ways to make learning more meaningful (and a little more fun!).
I work with tools like Storyline, Rise, Vyond, AI, and other technologies to build learning solutions that connect with learners and drive results. I'm excited to learn from this community, share ideas, and see all the creative work everyone is building.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me reading, crocheting, tackling DIY home projects, or chasing after my energetic five-year-old son. 😊 Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Hi all! My name is Inge and I'm from the Netherlands. I work as an Articulate Certified Trainer (Yes! lucky me) and besides that I help Articulate users with their questions. I love experimenting with new features and I've been using AI since 2022. You might find me doing webinars and talks on the subject as much as I can. I always recommend the heroes pages to my students, because I find it incredible how kind and ready-to-share this community is. Next month I'll be in London for Articuland, any of you going to be there?
About a year ago, I started testing code in embed blocks... and look where we are now! Totally unbelievable how fast everything is changing and there are so many new features to work with in Articulate. I really love it.
For you to enjoy: a small sample of some of my favorite codeblocks:

Hi Inge, enjoyed your Code Block examples. I will be at Articuland London, too. I'm delivering a Breakout session on Day 1. Come say hi!

Oh that's really nice. I can't make day 1.. unfortunately.. Only day 2.
