Check Box with an x icon instead of check icon
Hello everyone,
I've been looking for best practices to do this from title, but I can't seem to find anything useful. I tried a few things, but not satisfied with any. What would be best practice ...

The built-in checkboxes for Storyline use a checkmark. Personally, I think a checkmark seems like a more positive way to indicate selection. After all, a big X could be used to cross something off/out. But either of those symbols would be acceptable.
The important UI standard is this:
- Checkboxes (i.e., rectangles) are used when the user could select one or more options, such as for multiple-response questions.
- Radio buttons (i.e., circles) are used when the user can select only one option, such as for multiple-choice questions.
For those too young too remember: car radios used to have a set of buttons to push for switching between radio stations. Pushing in (selecting) one button automatically pushed out (deselected) the other buttons. Hence the name "radio button."

Agree! I love this little trip down memory lane! This explanation of radio buttons is simply remarkable. Such a charming bit of history behind something we use every day :)
