Dealing with LMS Limitations
I was looking for some advice on ways to upload our interactive modules which contain videos and activities to a LMS that has a limitation to 300 MB.
- Compress the videos more (different codec)
- Make the videos shorter (couple of minutes per video)
- Break up into smaller chunks (Part 1/2/3..)
- Get the system admin to adjust settings so this course is an exception and can have larger uploads/combined size
I would also add -- put the videos on a video hosting platform and embed them as web objects instead. Using something like Vimeo, Wistia, or even YouTube and embedding the videos into your course will make the course much smaller.
